In Pakistan, over 50 million people live without reliable access to electricity, many of them in rural or remote regions according to a research conducted under World Bank Organisation. This extreme power shortage disrupts daily life, affecting everything including children’s education, domestic chores, and economic development. Al-Wahab Foundation has launched the Solar Panel Project to address this critical issue through a sustainable and impactful solution for homes without electricity in rural areas.

Lighting Up Lives with Solar Power

In the face of the energy crisis, many families endure blackouts in routine, specifically in rural areas where power outages severely impact their ability to work, study, and live with dignity. During his visit to distant parts of Sindh, Chairman Mufti Abdul Wahab had a chance to visit homes where families suffered through difficult situations due to no electricity. To deal with this issue, solar panels installation offer a sustainable and efficient solution, providing uninterrupted power supply to help people perform their daily activities without any hindrance.

20 Solar Panels have already been installed in Achro Thar and Khipro, two of the most underserved regions in Pakistan.
