Al-Wahab Foundation’s 10-year celebration Charity Dinner at Crystal Plaza, Birmingham, on November 23, 2024, was a remarkable success, thanks to our esteemed guests and supporters. The event, made possible by our supporters and donors, was especially heartwarming with families in attendance, creating an inspiring atmosphere. Below are key moments that defined this memorable occasion.
The event was hosted by Sohail Zarar and Tehreem Noor, who kept attendees engaged throughout. Al-Wahab Foundation’s Chairman, Mufti Abdul Wahab, delivered a heartfelt opening address, reflecting on the Foundation’s 10-year journey of alleviating suffering and spreading compassion globally. His speech highlighted ongoing projects and the responsibility of every donation.
The evening was enriched by Comic Poet Syed Salman Gillani, whose joyful poetry session left the audience overjoyed, adding a literary touch to the event.
The evening began with soulful Quran recitations by Qari Muhammad Zubair, whose serene voice uplifted the audience. Young guest Rayan Shah also delivered an eloquent recitation, earning admiration. These recitations created a lasting spiritual connection with Allah (SWT), leaving an unforgettable impact.
Zunnoorain Usman and Hafiz Ali Ayub captivated the crowd with their heartwarming Nasheed performances, reminding everyone of faith and unity.
The event showcased Al-Wahab Foundation’s 10 years of serving impoverished communities in Pakistan, the UK, Uganda, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. Projects were highlighted to demonstrate our team’s dedication to making a difference for those facing financial hardships. With supporters’ contributions, we aim to expand to more countries, turning every donation into an ocean of hope.
The team called for donations to support projects like water hand pumps and wells, building Masjids, and the Eye Care Project for cataract surgeries. The overwhelming response reinforced our belief in unity for meaningful change.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious 4-course meal, fostering networking and a shared spirit of celebration.
Syed Salman Gillani’s comic poetry session was a highlight, wrapping up the event with smiles and joy, providing soulful entertainment for all.
Chairman Mufti Abdul Wahab presented honorary badges to volunteers and donors, recognizing their vital contributions to Al-Wahab Foundation’s humanitarian efforts.
