Ramadan Donation Impact 2026: Supporting 24,000 People in Need

March 20, 2026

Ramadan is a time that brings the Muslim community together in compassion, reflection, and generosity. Throughout this blessed month, Muslims increase their acts of worship, strengthen their connection with Allah (SWT), and extend assistance to those facing hardship. Charity during Ramadan carries immense reward, and every act of giving becomes a source of mercy and hope for those in need.

As Ramadan 2026 concludes, we reflect on the powerful difference your generosity has made. Because of your contributions, thousands of vulnerable individuals and families received essential assistance, allowing them to observe the sacred month with dignity and relief.

How Your Ramadan Donations Changed Lives?

Your generosity during Ramadan brought meaningful change to the lives of many individuals and families facing hardship. Through your donations, essential assistance reached those who needed it most, helping them meet their daily needs during the blessed month.

The Qur’an reminds us of the lasting impact of giving in the way of Allah:
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear are a hundred grains.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)

The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) also emphasised the virtue of charity during Ramadan:

“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.” (Tirmidhi 663)

Because of your generosity, many vulnerable families were able to observe Ramadan with greater dignity and relief, knowing that their essential needs were being cared for during this sacred time.

Reaching Communities Around the World

At Al-Wahab Foundation, we remain committed to assisting vulnerable communities in the UK and internationally. Thanks to your Ramadan donations, we expanded our humanitarian outreach across several countries, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Uganda and the UK.

This Ramadan, we distributed 1950 food packs and 5700 Iftar meals , ensuring vulnerable families had the essentials needed to observe the blessed month with dignity and peace of mind.

Through our Ramadan initiatives, families received vital food aid, access to clean water, and livelihood opportunities that continue to improve their daily lives beyond Ramadan.

Serving Communities in the UK

During Ramadan, Al-Wahab Foundation continued its work in the UK by providing food assistance and Iftar meals to individuals experiencing hardship. Our teams collaborated with community partners to ensure that those in need could break their fast with dignity.

This year, 180 freshly prepared Iftar meals were distributed across several locations, helping individuals facing financial difficulties.

A particularly meaningful initiative was the distribution of 840 Iftar meals for NHS staff across hospitals in London. By serving frontline healthcare workers, we aimed to express appreciation for their dedication while strengthening a sense of community and shared values during Ramadan.

Zakat and Ramadan Obligations Changing Lives

Your Zakat, Fidya, Fitrana, and Kaffarah contributions played a vital role in helping those who struggle to meet their daily needs. These donations enabled us to deliver food and essential assistance to thousands of vulnerable individuals and families.

Through this aid, many households were able to observe Ramadan with greater peace of mind, knowing that their basic needs were being met.

Bringing Joy to Children on Eid

Eid ul Fitr is a time of celebration, yet many children from disadvantaged families are unable to fully experience the joy of the occasion. With your generosity, Al-Wahab Foundation provided Eid Gift Packs to children in need, helping them celebrate the day with happiness and dignity.

These packs included clothing, accessories, and festive essentials, allowing children to feel included in the celebrations and share in the joy of Eid.

Thank You for Making Ramadan 2026 Meaningful

All praise belongs to Allah (SWT), and we extend our sincere gratitude to our generous donors who made these efforts possible. Together, your Ramadan donations helped deliver essential assistance, nourishment, and hope to 24,000 beneficiaries.
