Ramadan Goals 2019: Ramadan is a time of fasting and worship, but more importantly, it is a time of unity and compassion. We are lucky enough to have cupboards and fridges stocked with food. Months prior to Ramadan are spent rolling out pastry and planning recipes, but what about the people who aren’t able to afford such a luxury?

What about those who can’t afford to have a meal, regardless of whether it is important Ramadan or not? These people have experienced what true hunger feels like when they go to sleep not knowing where their next meal will come from.

WHAT YOU CAN DO for Ramadan Goals 2019:

Make your Ramadan count today, by donating towards a family’s iftar or suhoor.

You can give anything from the following:

1. £50 for a food pack

2. a monthly iftar pack for £100

3. any amount you wish for Sadaqaah or Lillah

Our Ramadan goals 2019 at UCI is simple; to improve the conditions of people across the globe, to give them what they had been deprived of. We don’t just give them food; we give them hope and joy. And seeing the smiles on their faces makes our efforts more worth it.
