Aqiqah Donation: Donate Your Aqiqah Online

Welcome New Life With Gratitude and Generosity.

The birth of a child is one of life’s greatest blessings. Aqiqah, also spelled Aqeeqah, gives Muslim families a beautiful way to thank Allah (SWT) for that blessing while sharing their happiness with others.

Through your Aqiqah donation, Al-Wahab Foundation can arrange the sacrifice on your behalf and help provide meat to families facing hardship. You can donate your Aqiqah online from anywhere in the UK, allowing us to take care of the practical arrangements while you fulfil this beautiful Sunnah.

Donate Your Aqiqah Online from the UK

Arranging an Aqiqah yourself may not always be practical. Al-Wahab Foundation makes it simple to complete your Aqiqah online donation while ensuring the sacrifice is arranged on your behalf.

You make your donation and provide the required details relating to the child and your Aqiqah. AWF then arranges the sacrifice and distribution of the meat to vulnerable families.

This allows you to focus on celebrating your child’s arrival and thanking Allah (SWT), while the practical arrangements are handled for you.

How Your Aqiqah Donation Works

Choose the Appropriate Aqiqah

Select the correct option depending on whether the Aqiqah is for a boy or a girl.

Provide Your Details

Provide the child’s name, gender, your preferred Aqiqah date and your contact details, including a WhatsApp number. If you would like the Aqiqah to be performed on a specific date, please provide your details at least 3 days in advance.

Complete Your Donation

Make your Aqiqah donation securely online through Al-Wahab Foundation.

AWF Arranges the Sacrifice

Al-Wahab Foundation arranges for the appropriate number of animals to be sacrificed on your behalf and the meat to be distributed to people in need.

What Happens After You Donate?

Once your donation and Aqiqah details have been received, Al-Wahab Foundation will arrange the sacrifice in Pakistan on your preferred date. If you require a specific date, please provide at least 3 days’ notice so we have enough time to make the arrangements.

Once your Aqiqah has been completed, we will send confirmation by email or WhatsApp, including images and the date and time the Aqiqah was performed.

Aqiqah for a Boy or Girl

The Sunnah guidance differs depending on whether the Aqiqah is for a boy or a girl. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that two sheep may be offered for a boy and one sheep for a girl. This is recorded in At-Tirmidhi 1513 and Sunan Abi Dawud 2834.
  1. For a boy: two animals
  2. For a girl: one animal
When arranging your Aqiqah, simply select the appropriate option so the sacrifice can be carried out accordingly.

Fulfil the Sunnah of Aqiqah

Aqiqah is an Islamic practice carried out in gratitude to Allah (SWT) following the birth of a child. It involves sacrificing an eligible animal and sharing the meat, including with people in need.

By arranging your Aqiqah through Al-Wahab Foundation, you can fulfil this beautiful Sunnah while helping provide nourishing meat to families who may otherwise struggle to afford it.

Your Aqiqah Can Bring Food and Happiness to Another Family

For many households living through poverty and financial hardship, meat is not an everyday part of the family meal. An Aqiqah can therefore create an impact beyond the sacrifice itself.

The meat from your Aqiqah can provide families in need with nourishing food and allow the happiness surrounding your child’s arrival to reach another home.

Your support turns a personal family celebration into an act of generosity that brings nourishment and joy to others.

When Should Aqiqah Be Given?

Aqiqah is traditionally performed on the seventh day following the birth of a child. The Prophetic tradition refers to the sacrifice being made on the seventh day, alongside naming the child and shaving the child’s hair.

According to Al-Wahab Foundation’s scholar’s view, if the seventh day has already passed, Aqiqah can still be performed later.

Why Perform Your Aqiqah Through Al-Wahab Foundation?

Al-Wahab Foundation is a UK-registered charity, Charity No. 1196664. When you arrange your Aqiqah through AWF, we manage the process from your donation through to the sacrifice and distribution of the meat to vulnerable families in Pakistan.

You can request your preferred date, and once the Aqiqah has been completed, we provide confirmation by email or WhatsApp with images and the date and time of the sacrifice. This gives you a simple and transparent way to fulfil the Sunnah while sharing the blessing of your child’s arrival with families in need.
