Nourishing Hope for Uganda: Al-Wahab Foundation's Food Packs for Disabled Community

Al-Wahab Foundation's Food Packs for Disabled CommunityIn Uganda, disabled individuals often face significant challenges when it comes to providing for themselves and their families. Many are unable to work due to their disabilities, which can lead to a lack of income and limited access to basic necessities such as food. However, Al-Wahab Foundation has stepped in to provide support to these individuals by providing food packs.

Chairman Mufti Abdul Wahab paid a visit to Uganda and made significant efforts to serve the underprivileged community. The invaluable support of our donors played a crucial role in making this possible.

One of the recipients named Mansoor, father of 2 children, has been living with a physical disability for the past 10 years. Mansoor has been unable to work since his disability began, which has made it difficult to provide for himself and his two children. However, with the support of Al-Wahab Foundation, Mansoor was provided with a food pack that contained essential items such as rice, beans, cooking oil, etc. The food pack provided him with enough sustenance to assist his family for a month.

“I want to extend my sincere thanks to the Al-Wahab Foundation for providing me with a food pack. As a disabled individual, it is often challenging to access basic necessities, but AWF’s support has made a significant difference in my life. The provision of the food pack has enabled me to feed myself and my family, and I am truly grateful for their generosity and compassion. Thank you once again to the Al-Wahab Foundation and Chairman Mufti Abdul Wahab for their invaluable support.”

Similarly, Rajab, a 45-year-old disabled man and father of seven, shared that he has faced constant struggles in providing food for his family. Despite his best efforts, the daily concern of securing enough food for his loved ones has been a constant source of stress and hardship in his life.

“My name is Rajab, and I am a 45-year-old disabled man living here in Uganda. I am father to seven children, but providing for them has been a constant struggle throughout my life. Due to my disability, I am unable to work and earn a stable income, which has made it challenging to put food on the table for my family.

Every day, I wake up with the same worry – how will I be able to provide enough food for my loved ones? It’s a never-ending cycle of stress and anxiety that has affected my mental health and well-being.

However, in such circumstances, Al-Wahab Foundation’s support has proved a lifeline for me and my family. The provision of a food pack has ensured that we have enough nourishment to sustain ourselves for an extended period.

I cannot express how grateful I am to Al-Wahab Foundation for their generosity and compassion towards disabled individuals like me. Their support has brought immense relief to me and my family.”
