KEEPING HOPES ALIVE
Bring Hope to Rohingya Refugees
In August 2017, the people of Rohingya confronted brutal genocide in Myanmar, leaving them displaced and devastated. Hundreds and thousands were reported dead while many began to flee to Bangladesh in a traumatic state.
As of now, after the Rohingya crisis, there are approximately over 1 million refugees who are managing their survival in the highly populated Cox’s Bazar, recorded as the largest refugee camp in the world. To alleviate their suffering, Al-Wahab Foundation is on the ground to provide sustenance for better survival through the Rohingya Emergency Appeal.
A mosque is the heart of the community, a place full of peace that brings the community together. In rural areas, where mosques are damaged and unsafe due to floods, storm or earthquake, having a suitable place to pray again can feel out of reach. Finding the funds or resources to rebuild a masjid is impossible in the daily battle for survival. You can help. Give them a place to worship once again.
In Islam, relieving others’ hardships is a fundamental principle. Our founder, Mufti Abdul Wahab, firmly believes that empowering individuals to attain a sustainable income is the most effective way to combat poverty and bring about lasting change.
By contributing to our Rozgar project with your Zakat or Sadaqah donation, you not only help create this income but also give independence and dignity to those in need, breaking the cycle of poverty for generations to come. Your donation today can be the catalyst that transforms their futures. Donate now and make a difference in their lives.

Ummah Charity International is now Al-Wahab Foundation. We have rebranded to create a new, stronger identity for the organisation. This decision was taken after careful deliberation by our board of trustees and senior staff, the goal being to create a new, stronger and bespoke identity for the organisation. We envision a world free of poverty, and discrimination, where people can realise their potential and live with peace and tranquillity. To learn more about our current changes, please read our rebranding journey.
