KEEPING HOPES ALIVE
Let’s keep the spirit
of Ramadan Alive!
Alhamdolillah! Ramadan was truly a blessed month which gave us a chance to purify ourselves by worshipping more and serving humanity for Allah’s sake. As Ramadan has come to an end, let’s come together to keep the spirituality and feelings of renewed souls flourishing. Let’s cherish this closeness to Allah (SWT) by doing good deeds regularly. No matter how big or small the charity is, let’s give on regular basis as mentioned in Quran: “Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.” (2:274).
A small masjid accommodating approximately 250 worshippers needs £7,000 whereas a large masjid costs around £15,000. Your donations can make us achieve the target of rebuilding a maximum number of mosques in a limited time. The reward of helping in the reconstruction of a mosque is considered Sadaqah Jariyah, which means you and your descendants will continue to reap rewards from this pious act throughout your life and in the world hereafter.
Ummah Charity International is now Al-Wahab Foundation. We have rebranded to create a new, stronger identity for the organisation. This decision was taken after careful deliberation by our board of trustees and senior staff, the goal being to create a new, stronger and bespoke identity for the organisation. We envision a world free of poverty, and discrimination, where people can realise their potential and live with peace and tranquillity. To learn more about our current changes, please read our rebranding journey.
Your support is vital to helping us achieve this and we couldn’t do it without our dedicated volunteers.
