Al-Wahab Foundation
Every Qurbani has the power to change lives. Behind every donation is a family facing daily struggles and hoping for a better future. This is the story of Shehzad Ahmed, who lives in Jumma Goth with his wife, three daughters, and six sons.
Like many families living in poverty, Shehzad works hard to provide for his children. However, financial hardship has made life extremely difficult. His children were only able to study until the fifth class before they had to leave school because the family could no longer afford their education.
Providing food for a large family is a daily challenge. Limited income means that even basic necessities are often out of reach. During Eid-ul-Adha, buying meat for the family is simply not possible.
Families like Shehzad's often go without many of the things most people take for granted. Despite these hardships, they continue to show patience, gratitude, and hope for a brighter future.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, Al-Wahab Foundation was able to deliver fresh Qurbani meat directly to Shehzad Ahmed's home.
Instead of worrying about how they would celebrate Eid, the family was able to enjoy nutritious meals and share in the blessings of Qurbani with dignity. Your support ensured that they did not feel forgotten during this special time of year.
During the visit, Mufti Abdul Wahab personally met Shehzad Ahmed and his family to better understand their circumstances.
After learning about their needs, additional support was provided through the Al-Wahab Foundation Solar Project, food distribution programme, and ration assistance. This support helped ease some of the daily challenges the family continues to face.
By addressing both immediate and longer-term needs, the support brought comfort and hope to the entire household.
Your donations do much more than provide food for a single day. They help families facing poverty experience relief, dignity, and compassion when they need it most.
For Shehzad Ahmed and his family, your kindness meant they could celebrate Eid with joy and receive further assistance to improve their quality of life.
Shehzad Ahmed and his family expressed their sincere gratitude to everyone who made this support possible. They made heartfelt duas for every donor, asking Allah (SWT) to reward them for their generosity and accept their charitable giving.
Their prayers are a reminder that every act of kindness creates a lasting impact.
There are many more families like Shehzad Ahmed's who need support throughout the year. Your donations help provide Qurbani, food packs, ration assistance, solar solutions, and other essential aid to vulnerable communities.
Together, we can continue bringing hope, dignity, and relief to those who need it most. Every donation makes a difference and helps another family look towards the future with hope.
Ramadan food packs are usually distributed to low-income families, widows, elderly individuals, labourers, and vulnerable households facing financial hardship.
Food packs commonly include rice, flour, cooking oil, sugar, lentils, tea, and other essential groceries.
Food aid helps struggling families prepare Suhoor and Iftar meals during the fasting month and reduces financial pressure.
