Water is life itself. Allah says in the Qur’an: “And We made every living thing of water.” (Qur’an 21:30). Yet, for millions in Pakistan, this essential blessing is out of reach. Almost 70% of the population has no access to safe drinking water, and only 36% of what is available is fit for consumption. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was once asked, “Which charity is best?” and he replied: “A drink of water.” Giving water is giving life.
This is why I am hiking the Seven Sisters, to raise awareness and funds for clean water in Pakistan. Behind every statistic is a child, a mother, a family who walk miles each day just to collect unsafe water. Clean water means healthier children, stronger communities, and hope for a brighter future. It is not just a necessity-it is dignity, opportunity, and a chance to break the cycle of poverty.
Every donation matters. With your support, we can turn footsteps into fountains, challenges into change, and charity into everlasting reward (sadaqah jariyah). I am humbled to take on this journey, but the true impact lies in what we achieve together. Join me! let’s give the gift of water, and with it, the gift of life.
