About This Campaign

The Crisis

Water is a fundamental human right, yet it remains a privilege for far too many around the world. Pakistan faces one of the most severe water crises globally, ranking third among countries with insufficient water and sanitation problems according to the International Monetary Fund.

Currently:

  • 2.1 million Pakistani individuals are deprived of safe water access.
  • Only 20% of Pakistan's population has access to quality drinking water.
  • 50% of the country's diseases stem from contaminated water consumption.
  • 40% of deaths in Pakistan are linked to unsafe water.

The impact on children is particularly devastating. Inadequate sanitation leads to diarrhea upon consumption of contaminated water, making it one of the leading causes of death among children under five years old in Pakistan.

The Challenge

I'm proud to be part of a dedicated team taking on the Seven Sisters Cliffs, where each climber is committed to funding the installation of a water pump for families in Pakistan. Every pump we fund will transform a family's access to clean, safe water, improving health and creating new opportunities for Pakistan's communities.
