I’m Amaan, and on Sunday 7th September 2025, I’ll be taking on the Seven Sisters Hike—a physically demanding, cliffside trek across one of the UK’s most iconic coastal trails. This challenge is more than just a test of endurance. I’m hiking to help bring clean, safe water to communities in Pakistan, where 70% of the population doesn't have access to it.
The hike spans several miles across steep inclines, rolling hills, and rugged coastline. It’s not easy. But it’s nothing compared to what millions of people—especially women and children—endure every day just to fetch water that often isn’t even safe to drink.
I’m aiming to raise £300, enough to install two water hand pumps. Each pump provides clean water to an entire family, transforming their daily lives by providing reliable, nearby access to safe water—something many of us take for granted.
“And We made from water every living thing. Then will they not believe?”
(Surah Al-Anbiya 21:30)
Water is a fundamental part of life, and when you donate to this cause, you're not just giving water; you're providing the means for families to live with dignity, health, and hope for the future.
A small effort that can lead to a Sadaqah Jariyah—a continuous charity that benefits others long after it’s given. Every time someone drinks from the pump you help fund, you'll continue to receive rewards for your contribution.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The best charity is giving water to drink.” [Ahmad]
Please consider donating—no amount is too small. Together, we can make a lasting impact, one step (and one pump) at a time.
Can’t donate? Share this campaign with your network—every voice helps us reach more families.
